Many families can benefit from an experienced Christian Mediator to help them resolve their differences. We can help families resolve disputed issues and move toward a time of reconciliation and healing. We help families that
- are considering divorce
- have committed to obtaining a divorce
- are involved in post-divorce disputes
- are simply dealing with stressful issues
CRM offers three types of Family Mediation:
Divorce Mediation
CRM provides the best opportunity for you to make decisions that will minimize the impact of your divorce on your children’s lives. You may feel like you have failed the marriage, but you do not have to fail your children as well.
The divorce process is the place where you will make decisions that will have a permanent impact on your children’s lives. The decisions you make at this point will dictate how your children look back on this time of their lives. Was it a painful time, but a time when you put their interests above your own? Or was it a time of terrible strife, fighting and permanent hurt?
Post Divorce Mediation
Parents facing ongoing difficulties after a divorce frequently conclude that they have no other choice but to take their differences to court and “let the judge decide.” However, post divorce litigation can be just as damaging as litigation in the original divorce. Parents can become immersed in a never-ending cycle of protracted, emotional, expensive litigation that tears at the very fabric of what is left of their family.
CRM can help parents learn to set aside their feelings about the other parent and work together to make decisions that are truly based on their children’s best interest.
Family Conflict
Even the best of marriages can run into times of trouble in which communication is difficult or decisions seem out of reach. Ongoing disagreements can put strain on a marriage. Times of sudden crisis can disrupt even solid marriages. Children’s situations can cause disagreements on parenting issues. A family does not need to be considering divorce to benefit from the principles of Family Mediation with CRM.
